Laura Tobin
Laura Tobin is a Civil Engineer (MICE) and Executive Director of Ogma International, an organisation focused on supplying scarce resources to the transport, construction and energy industries through rigorous and proven methodologies. Laura's experience as both a civil and a petroleum engineer qualify her to understand in detail the requirements of the clients. Her international background and her knowledge of the construction and energy sectors give her excellent experience for supporting clients within the Oil & gas, and construction sectors. In her capacity as a reservoir and well testing engineer, Laura has worked for ConocoPhillips and ENI, both on-shore and off-shore in the Ekofisk field in the North Sea, Norway and in the Val D'Agri in Italy. She has a Masters in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School and an excellent grounding in general management. She expanded her financial knowledge of the energy/utility sector working on a short term assignment as an associate for Salomon Brothers investment banking in the energy department. She has initiated and developed other business areas, including the developing of a business plan for a project initiated by Schlumberger and sponsored by other major companies to provide career support and job opportunities worldwide to harness the talent of ex-patriate partners : Partnerjob.com.
Laura's native tongue is Italian and she speaks fluent English, along with good Spanish and French and has lived internationally in 6 different countries. She is a member of the MICE.
